An international panel of judges has selected the best beers, ciders and honeys from Poland and Europe. The awarding of the Greater Poland competition will take place on the last weekend of November during the Poznań Beer Expo. At that time, it will also be possible to taste some of the prize-winning beverages.

The level of the beers, especially the commercial ones, was quite high, which is gratifying considering that this is probably the second most populated beer competition in the country. Judging at competitions, where judges from all over Poland as well as guests from abroad appear, is, apart from work, above all, a great opportunity to exchange experiences.

The fourth edition of the GP was full of a few novelties and surprises. The biggest change in relation to the previous edition was the creation, under the aegis of Greater Poland, of a competition for meads, both homemade and from professional meaderies. This is all the more pleasing as this competition has had a really great debut.

Out of 230 entries, 15 professional judges from home and abroad selected the best beer and cider in 15 style categories. We awarded 43 prizes in the categories and the grand prizes for the best beer and best cider of the competition.
